Louise’s Italian Fine Dining and Bar proudly continues as the namesake restaurant of Louise Ambrosini, the original founder of Louise’s Restaurant which opened in June, 1939 at its original location on S. 3rd Street in Terre Haute, IN. From its humble beginnings, Louise’s quickly became renowned as a place to celebrate special occasions and create memories with family and friends while dining on many of Terre Haute’s favorite Italian recipes…….which have continued still today from their original roots in Vecenta, Italy!
Following in the footsteps of the Louise’s history built over decades by the Ambrosini and Gottardi families and their loyal support from generations of dedicated Louise’s employees, Rick Lundstrom sustained the Louise’s traditions from 2001 until his brother Rob Lundstrom carried forth the Louise’s Legacy in Rick’s memory beginning December 17, 2008.
Louise’s Italian Fine Dining and Bar was born July 1, 2008, to usher in the next phase of dinner operations at the Terre Haute International Airport – Hulman Field, where generations of visitors and residents have enjoyed watching Terre Haute enter the Aviation Age. Louise’s Italian Fine Dining and Bar offers a traditional Italian dining experience during dinner hours.
Louise’s Copper Catering is capable of handling all your catering needs ranging from formal to casual fun at your location, onsite at Louise’s, or downtown Terre Haute at Rick’s Copper Bar.
Our Gift Cards can be used interchangeably without expiration at Rick’s Copper Bar, Louise’s Italian Fine Dining, Louise’s Café, and Sycamore Spirits for all your food and beverage needs.
